When you set it to max, the drive is sent 0xFFFFFFFF as a speed value. ImgBurn sets the speed (which is good enough for all the other drives I've come across) and the drive does as it's told - or what it thinks is best. There shouldn't really be anything to fix here. Can you recommend some good alternative programs to turn DVD folders into ISOs? I probably have a few of them already downloaded, but can't remember what they were.Sod it, I couldn't find anywhere (from my normal bunch of online retailers) doing the GSA-H10N (and that had them in stock) so I went to good old PC World! It also didn't make the usual AUDIO/VIDEO_TS folders.
It said that the filesystem it formatted the DVD for was CDFS, while my other ISOs made with DVD-RB were UDF or something like that. I'm thinking Folder2ISO may be the culprit.

Lastly, converted them to ISO with Folder2ISO and burned them with DVD Decrypter. I had to do some major compression on two DVDs to fit them on my harddrive, with DVD-RB first, and then I had to run them through DVD-Remake and merge them. Recently I ran into a situation where I couldn't do this. I burn most of my DVDs with DVD Decrypter, after DVD-RB turns them into ISOs automatically.
